Missions: Our Heart for the World
Abiding Place has a core belief that we are to heal, equip, and release people into their callings. The missions we support reflect this core belief, as we encourage these mission ministries. We financially support these missions and take teams to support their callings in the Dominican Republic, South Central Los Angeles, and other places worldwide that we may visit and minister to.
Fountain of Hope
Fountain of Hope is known as Luchando por la Esperanza in the Dominican Republic; Travis Adams is the director.
Fountain of Hope is an organic, urban youth outreach in the central west area of La Vega in the Dominican Republic. Travis Adams has served God there since 1998 and has had an independent, informal ministry there since 2002. The ministry was formalized when Fountain of Hope was founded in 2014 under the auspices of Abiding Place.
We provide supplemental services to existing churches and ministries; encourage, train, and help equip young people and families to live as active members of God’s kingdom; conduct camps (in remote mountain areas); mentor; conduct Bible studies, children’s Sunday school, support groups and trainings for men, women, teens, married couples, and families. We: provide experiences outside the barrio in God’s beautiful creation through farming and time in nature; help others through various outreach projects; and at all times strive to show and share the love of Jesus in everything we do.
Although we serve people of all ages, our principal target group is ages nine to twenty-nine. Our primary mission is to break down walls that block the path to God, build bridges between believers, share the Kingdom of God and help individuals realize the life God has planned for them. We strive to be obedient to God as he divinely guides our steps and reveals His plans in His timing.
"Above all, clothe yourselves with love which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.”

Planting CHURCHES that Reproduce
Chad and Fabiola are church planters and missionaries with World Impact. They met in Mexico while Chad was on the mission field. They have a similar passion to see multitudes of people won for Christ through genuine personal relationships, evangelism, leadership training and church planting.
Fabiola, led to Jesus by a missionary, felt called into missions from an early age. She had been involved in outreach and leadership development in Mexico and now is reaching even more people on foreign soil for Jesus.
Chad, who taught in the public school system for 11 years, is using what he learned as a teacher to train-up others to use their gifts for God’s glory: passing on that same passion for Jesus and the local church that he has.
Together they have started a church amongst immigrants in a poverty-ridden area of South Central Los Angeles where violence, substance, and sexual abuse are just some of the major issues they work through with people on a daily basis.
Chad and Fabiola have been married for over 12 years and have three children, Rebecca, Justice and Beniah.
